Kunzum...A Travel Cafe,Hauzkhas,Delhi

A Cafe entirely different from the cafes in town and that is Kunzum the travel cafe.Located in the art village Of the posh suburbs of Delhi is Ajay Jain's Kunzum.Its free for all and you get unlimited tea and cookies and you can discuss anything from travel to travel plans,exchange travel stories,free wi fi,art,books,images ,events and  anything..Dont forget to donate for kunzum anything from Rupees Five to .....five hundred..

The decor of the cafe is kept simple..its basically along rectangular room with no frills attached to it.There are 60 odd photographs clicked by Ajay Jain himself that adorn the walls of the cafe.the seating arangements are modas and low stools and some rectangular coffee tables.The beautiful photographs themselves take your mind,just exchange stories and make travel plans .

Hauz khas Revisited !

Before i tune in to some interesting places and their styles that we saw during summer vacations,before we left for our vacations,we had been to Hauz khas,our neighbourhood village.This time,i thought HAuz khas has a new look entirely different from what i had featured here long before.Some shops turned into restaurants and some more art shops opened and some more boutique shops opened with their fabulous collection and a long line of restaurants here..

Come lets have a walk..

Hello!

tropical love in bottles

Tropical flowers and leaves my favourite.Some tropicals in bottles on the window sills at home evoke the coolness at home during this summer...

all bottles are recycled,some are very very old kissan squash botles,some are old reagent bottles,some amber coloured reagent bottles and some wine bottles..

Havelis of Fatehpur

Fatehpur was the last town we visited during the trip to the Shekhawati region.Nadine Le prince Haveli was among the finest we visited in Fatehpur. Owned by the famous painter of reality the French artist "Nadine le prince",the haveli has been restored by her.Nadine Le prince is a descendent of a long line of artists dating back to the sixteenth century.She loved India so much that she decided to buy a haveli and start spending time in India painting and teaching.We stood wonderstruck by her paintings in oils,i thought they were all real and we could feel life in all what she painted.
