Subtle touch of Festivities!

The Gorgeous shades emerald green and white just look  so pretty together.This palette was all about harvest inspired elegance for me .Throw in loads of metallic gold and candlelight and this is about as festive as it gets! Petals of flowers formed rangoli patterns around the candles as an added element that is relatively easy to accomplish yet creates a whole new dimension to the look.

Decorative elements like crystal ittar bottles around the candles , small white shells or a pallankuzhi create a wonderful ambience in any corner or on the dining table.The green kantha bedspread creates a subtle background.

"Studio Wood Collective"

Amazing and Brilliant reinventions in wood or a breath of fresh air of interior design or Zen spaces /corners for your house are now possible with a little bit of magic from Studio Wood Collective. 
As i walked into their SWC Garage sale,i could sense the ever enthusiastic bunch of people behind this collective who had invited me over and over again and again.

 Amazingly crafted end products  that demand their own corner.A Zen like feel in each corner.

Studio Wood Collective was created by product designer Vrinda Mathur along with Graphic designer Gazal Bawa, Space designer Navya Aggarwal and architect Sahej Bhatia. In the young team’s words, as told to "Nestopia"

“With the belief that all big things have small beginnings, we conceptualized the Studio Wood Collective with an objective to rediscover the potential of used furniture pieces and deconstruct their existing form, whilst enlivening the product with a brand new look.”

The collective is supported in terms of infrastructure and manufacturing facilities by Vrinda’s parent’s furniture manufacturing unit, Studio Wood. Infact, the factory floor of Studio Wood was where Vrinda saw pieces of furniture that had seen better days hidden away and recognised their potential. Realizing that the idea needed more than one brain working on it, she called out to her fellow designers and the collective was born.

Celebrations of Art and Music @Serendipity,Delhi

A riot of color, a burst of festivity and the sparkling brilliance of creative designers.

A Celebration of design, art & culture, curated and hosted by An Indian Summer & Serendipity Collective! A well curated space - that was what Serendipity, Delhi was on last weekend. Serendipity is a blue haveli located on the outskirts of the Delhi peppered with lots of antiques and chandeliers. Brimming with people, laughter and conversations and to top it all the brilliant designers.

Meeting all my favorite people whom I have not met for years:)-

Met Chandan Dubey :)- for the first time, Been a long time since i wanted to meet her:)- She is "as warm" and as true to herself as I had always imagined her to be, as family, as a person whom we closely know :)- I liked the traditionality infused in her product line which will go with the contemporary too and very inspirational with her colours. I just got pleasantly confused with all that she had got in her space. She had her new range of cushions,boxes small and big and the gyspy style trunk, platters and stools.
